The TV series was so cool I couldn't resist reading the rest of the stories about Dunk and Egg. And what a fun adventure it was! The TV series only covers about one third of the book, there are two other stories for the hedge knight and his young squire.

If you have read A Song of Ice and Fire you will be familiar with George RR Martins incredible writing style. He somehow manages to write with beautiful detail while keeping the pace of the narrative fast and furious.

I love the rich world of Westeros, the tales of old, the heraldry and the legends. These stories are not at the grand scale of Game of Throne, they are more personal, and less far ranging, but no less ambitious for it.

If you are missing the TV show and want to get your next fix of Egg and Dunk you really should give this one a go.
